Donating Buddhas to the Bhartiya Buddha Maha Sangha!

It was our great pleasure that The Bhartiya Buddha Maha Sangha or The Buddhist Society of India, Dr. Ambedkar Bhavan, Gokuldas Pasta Road, Dadar (E), Mumbai- 400 014 (Maharashtra) requested to the “Bangladesh Buddhist Student Association of Thailand” (BBSAT) to send some Buddha’s Statues for Them. On request of them as well as we know there were a lots of new Buddhists Temples without Buddha’s Statues and most of they were used to praying to calendar’s pictures instead of the Buddha’s Statues. Our Student Association (bbsat) respectfully accepted their requesting, as it is a great chance to do well indeed and arranged some Buddha’s Statues on our abilities. 

Ven. Vijitha Bhikkhu, member of (bbsat) arranged two Buddha’s Statues and given to our (bbsat) President. Our Student association (bbsat) celebrated a small ceremony of donating Buddha’s Statues to the Bhartiya Buddha maha Sangha on 4^th of March, 2012. The (bbsat) President Ven. Loka Mittra Bhikkhu was donating the Buddha’s Statues to the Bhartiya Buddha mahasangha behalf of the “Bangladesh Buddhist Student Association of Thailand” (BBSAT) here.
